Netta Architects is proud to announce the opening of the newly renovated Hominy Hill Golf Course Center in Colts Neck, NJ. Netta was selected by the Monmouth County Park System to design a complete renovation of the existing Golf Center. The original clubhouse was a two-story approximately 11,000 SF building converted from dairy barns in the mid-1960s. The project, led by architect Hong Jin ,AIA, ASID, LEED® AP, NCARB included a complete reconfiguration of the building’s interior along with a new addition bringing the structure to an impressive 12,000 square feet of space.

“Hominy Hill is a stunning public course and we’re proud to work with the County to update their public facilities,” said Nicholas Netta, President and CEO of Netta Architects. “I believe visitors will find the new space provides a comfortable and modern experience that matches the beauty of the course”.

The project also included a full replacement of exterior finishes along with new mechanical and electrical systems. The new clubhouse now contains a Pro Shop, gourmet restaurant and bar, and locker rooms along with Monmouth County office space. The second floor of the clubhouse contains a 275 seat banquet facility along with a banquet kitchen. The new facility will be two stories totaling approximately 240,000 sqft. It will be a 24- hour operated mixed-use occupancy, and will include Food Preparation Kitchen, Food and Beverage Processing and Assembly, Dishwash, Inbound and Outbound Docks, Receiving and Decant, Warehouse and Freezer Storage, Waste and Recycling, Automated Storage Retrieval System, Employee Locker, Toilet and Canteen areas, Customer Suite for Food Presentations, and support spaces for Building Operations and Administration Staff.

Netta Architects is leading this project, along with a complete team of design consultants; Site/Civil, Environmental, Geotechnical, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Protection, Communications, Security, Low Voltage, Lighting, and Food Service.

Netta will work with Jackson Fire District No. 2 to expand and centralize the District’s facilities with a 2-story, approximately 10,000 sq ft fire station and training facility. The new facility will include three double bays, support spaces, a communications room, and a decontamination area. The proposed fire station will be set on a site of approximately 12.16 acres located on West Veterans Highway.

Significant progress has been made on the future Frank J. Guarini Justice Complex in Jersey City as construction at one of New Jersey’s largest public revitalization efforts continues to hum along.

Set to replace the outdated Hudson County Administration Building at 595 Newark Avenue, a new five-story justice complex spanning an entire block across the street has been in the works for almost a decade.

Essex County College is hoping to draw tech-minded students with a flashy, new campus in West Caldwell that will transform the streetscape along Bloomfield Avenue.

The four-story building with a double-glass facade features color-changing lights that will give the college a “hi-tech look,” according to Nicholas Netta, president and CEO at Netta Architects.

The Roselle Public Library announced its plans for a major renovation and expansion project to update its almost 90-year-old building and better serve the community’s growing needs. With increased demand for library services, the current building is beyond its capacity due to limited space and outdated design.
